Architecture
These are photos of a building downtown Dexter close to the Dexter Bakery. I chose this because I thought it looked like a cool building. I liked the way it transitioned from a purple building straight into a brick building. I had trouble taking this photo because the sun was making it hard for me to see on my phone the right angle to take the photos. It was also hard because I had to take it from across the road because I couldn't gat the whole building in the frame up close. Another struggle was that I was on a lower level than the building, so it made it look smaller at the top.
These are photos of a statue. It is located in the park in Dexter. I chose to take these photos this way because I thought that looking up to them made them look more powerful and mighty. I was trying to convey importance and power. I had trouble taking these because there were streets right around it and I had to go from the perfect angle to keep the roads out of the photo.
This is a bench. It is in Dexter. I chose it because it made me think of sitting and talking on a bench. I was trying to convey happiness because it is a pretty bench. It was hard to take photos of because it was long and I had trouble getting it all in the shot.

blueprint of buildingspider webThese are photos of a gazebo. The gazebo I took photos of was in the park in Dexter. Some of the troubles I had taking these were getting good quality of the architecture because of all she shadows and shade created under it. It was also hard to get everything I wanted in the frame into the frame because it is a large gazebo. I wanted to show organization and invoke feeling of completeness to the viewer.
straight onside viewThis is a picnic table. It is in the Dexter park. I chose this composition because it reminded me of a picnic on a nice day. I wanted to make people remember their good times like a picnic and bring back good feelings. It was tough to take photos of because there was a sidewalk right next to it.
